Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the studio on Friday night to sip, shop, and celebrate with us! It was a fabulous evening and the perfect way to kick off the holidays with colleagues, clients, friends and family.  Thank you to Phillip Greenberg Interiors for providing such beautiful jewelry and home interiors, and to Branded Productions for providing the entertainment!

We want to wish all of our clients and friends a Blessed Holiday and Prosperous New Year! 

The studio will close on December 15th but check back after the first of the new year when we will unveil our newest exclusive product, original hand drawn graphite portraits, along with a video tour of the studio and a new look for our blog.

Phil Greenberg will be there will present a fabulous “how to” series on hanging artwork and creating interesting vignettes around your home.  Fine Artist Elise DeGemmis will exhibit her breathtaking artwork and showcase our newest exclusive product, original hand drawn graphite portraits. A portion of all sales will go to our favorite charity, Flashes of Hope,  benefiting children battling cancer and other life threatening illness.  Photographers, clients and friends of Karen Carey Photography are all invited. In order to garner your support for Flashes of Hope, Karen Carey Photography is offering a COMPLIMENTARY portrait session as a thank you for your donation of any amount to the Philadelphia Chapter of Flashes of Hope  before 11/11/11!!  All you have to do to participate is call the studio (610.584.1799),  schedule your portrait session *date and time, then follow the link above. Choose your donation amount and select “Philadelphia” in the drop down box. Forward a copy of your receipt to our inbox  and your session is our gift to you! It is that simple.

Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that changes the way children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography. As a participating studio, we have been privileged to photograph over 100 children and will continue our efforts until every child is cured. We need your help to make it happen.
