Monthly Archives: August 2008 This is the usual “end of summer” photo. After days of hearing the ice cream bell ring every fifteen minutes, the kids are always so surprised when my sisters and I finally cave and say yes to ice cream on the beach!!  When I was growing up the word deserving always seemed to be attached to something negative.
